Living Walls are vertical plant structures composed of living plants in a vertical structure, usually supported by an existing wall. Also known as green walls or vertical gardens, living walls may be interior or exterior. Living walls are very adaptable and may be easily incorporated into new and existing interior designs and exterior architecture.

Living walls use a vertical container or planting matrix system in which to anchor individual plants. A simple living wall may be a group of containers mounted to a grid or directly on a wall - requiring manual watering. A living wall system is a structure that is mounted to an interior or exterior wall, usually with a protective barrier between the system and the supporting wall. These types of living wall systems are generally self-watering via an irrigation system.

When properly installed, a living wall system will not damage supporting walls or surrounding structures. Our living walls are carefully designed and installed to provide a water barrier and proper drainage, so that no water seeps outside the living wall containment area.

The cost of a living wall can vary quite a bit, depending on the requirements of the design and the environment. Contributing factors include size, plant selection, irrigation needs and type of plant wall support system. Other factors may include requirements such as lighting and signage. Generally the cosl of living plant walls starts at $175 per square foot.
